Lasagna and Tortilla Chips.

Family favorite food, Lasagna and Tortilla Chips. I did these dishes as and when the kids have requested for. Since I am cooking for the family almost everyday, "7 days a week" and thinking about food on daily basis has never been easy. This is what, we the Törnquist family are going to be having for tonight's dinner.



Peter loves the lasagna with Bechamel sauce. The sauce has to be moderate and he does not like when the Bechamel sauce that are spreading everywhere and the lasagna became too soft and just melted down when you cut them.

Combination with our Tortila Chips with melted cheese in the oven and different dip sauce are just fantastic.

It's Thursday today !!

Very cloudy, cold, windy and slightly drizzling with real autumn weather here in Stockholm.

I woke up slightly later than usual today as I have been having so terrible bad headache for the past days. Peter bought me a special Zomig nasal spray for my migraine. Not cheap at all and it was supposed to be very good and has very good critic. I used up all the 2 spray in a day and yet my headache still goes on and on.


Then the next day was when I tried to get out of the car, I got a really bad pain on my back and I felt the whole of my left head and my left eyes are going to burst out into pieces.
That's where I know that it's not migraine.

Called the clinic here and she asked all sorts of question how, where, is it, did I, I should, and on and on...finally she asked me to take 2 Alvadon combined with one pill of Voltaren. Guess what, it is supposed to be one the the strongest pain killer but I still have the banging on my head.

I did lot of stretching while Vel and Peter takes turn to give me a massage. It is the nerve that is somehow stiff.
Today was my 6 days of head banging. Now it is slightly better but not 100% myself yet.

Anyway, morning Gabriel woke up himself from sleep and he explain and explain to Peter how he was chased by a Vampire in his sleep. He fought and fought but more and more Vampire came after him. So he woke up. Later he fall to sleep again and more Vampire came running after him and he felt so tired fighting those Vampire so he woke up just in time for his shower to school. It was so funny to hear your child had a Vampire Nightmare and being chase.

Jonas is coming to Stockholm today. Peter is on his way to the airport to pick him up.

Autumn Is here

It has been more than two weeks of cold. The autumn is back quickly for this year. All the trees are turning yellow, red and orange. Leaves are falling down to the ground. On such a windy day, the autumn can be even colder.
I heard that in Täby which is only an hr away from where we are had their first snow today but it melt away quickly.

All our summer clothes are packed away and winter jacket, winter shoes, thick scarf, gloves are back on the rack. One thing for sure getting ready to go out takes a little longer time than usual to get dressed.
