Training

Sunday had been one of the perfect day for me at my usual the training gym room. I got the whole gym to myself and no personal trainer around with anyone to bother the space I needed. I did treadmill, cross country, bicycling, rowing plus another 45 mins of total body workout.
Since I am on a 5 to 6 days training program, I will keep my spirit and motivation all out until I get to reach the body of my dream.

Effective and intensive workout for weight loss

I have been training for the last couple of weeks intensively. Not only have I decided to lose weight this time but I also quit smoking for almost 3 months now and I feel that my stamina is much better when I run. 
Before I started my training I was really doing my research on how to lose weight effectively. I spent hours reading for the pro and cons of all different possible. I don't believe in popping pills, stop eating or dieting. I believe in eating right and exercise right.
To be very honest I live in a considerably quite well to do neighbourhood, we have a private gym for the resident. All the ladies who came to the gym are never alone. They mostly came with their private instructor and at time there are only 5 trainers including plus 5 instructors. 
I may not like the idea of having a private instructor to begin with. For me it is not complicated like a science rocket. All information you need in losing weight the right way are there on the internet, you can really do a proper research that you need it by reading carefully or seeing the video. Most importantly, you have to be push yourself hard and not try to cheat yourself since no one is watching you. 
Realistically, the first two weeks, I begin with 4 times a weeks and the other 3 days, I went for a long walk or swim few laps.

First week and 2nd week: Cardio exercise for 15 mins before I take my arms, butt, legs and Ab. In between all that I also did few exercises to strengthen my back. I did 10 x 3 for different muscles workout. 4 days gym and 3 days of long walk or swimming. Alternate one day upper body workout and the next lower body workout.

3rd and 4th week : Cardio 30 to 45 mins. 15 x 3 sets each for different muscles workout. 6 days training at the gym and 1 day swimming or long walk.

5th weeks. Same cardio 30 to 45 mins. Increase a little more heavier dumbbell while working with each different muscles group.

I am in that shape now on the photo after the end of 5th week.

I still have a long way to go especially to toned up different parts of my body muscles.

One thing I never asked myself how fast will I lose weight but I asked myself how long I can ran without feeling tired. When I can do 15 mins to 45 mins intensive cardio, I know I can lose weight slowly by then.

My aim is to really toned up my stomach, arms, legs butt, back and giving it 2 months then I will be satisfied. So I will be posting more photos when I see some more changes.

Had a little chat with my sister in law today and she is staying at the Pan pacific Suite Beach Hotel over the weekend. My parents came over to the hotel for a visit. Below are my lovely parents together with my niece and nephew.

35 or 34 years ago

I have to post this in my blog as I never knew if I might lost this one and only photo I had.

I never had any photos of myself when I was a little girl. Probably I used to, somehow I think I might have lost them along the way. So this is one of the photos I came across when one of my classmate posted it on facebook and it got me smiling.
Time flies fast and I am not only the 7 years old girl that I used to be, all my children are much much older than the age I used to be in that photo right now.
 I do still keep in contact with few of my classmate here and thanks to facebook that we found each other again. The last time I came back to Singapore for a visit in 2013, I met 2 of my classmate and it was so nice seeing them and they are also a mother to their beautiful children.

Warm and sunny weekend

We had a lovely weather over the weekend here in London with temperature as high as 16 degree and sunny. Normally my son would never like to come along on a weekend walk but this time we insisted that he have to get out of the house and we are going to talk a long walk on this nice lovely weather here and he is not allowed to stay home and just play game.


 After crossing passing by the Hammersmith bridge, we decided to turn to the left and continue walking along the River Thames. We pass by many lovely cosy houses, beautiful pubs and restaurants by the river. One of the thing that caught my eyes is this pirate flag on a ship. It has somehow caught many passerby attention as I saw few people took photo of this flag.
 Along this river Thames are surrounded by many of this beautiful big houses. Amazingly I am aware that the water level rises so high and at times passes by the road and can reach the doorstep of some of the big villas.
While walking along this street, I saw signs, warning the vehicle of serious damage should they take the risk to park outside the roadside in front of this villas as water may rises and can cause damage to cars.
 I just love walking along different estate in London as there are always something nice thing that we would come across.

Beef patty

Beef patty is a fast quick meal. Nice cheeses taste, BBQ sauce marinate.
Mince meat, chopped cheddar cheese, onion, BBQ sauce, pepper, salt.
Mixed them well n shape them into burger.
Toast bread spread them with Hellman mayonnaise. 
Top them with more slice cheddar cheese, salad. 
Fry the meat on both side in a very short while in a pan n making sure it's not too cook inside as it will be too dry otherwise. Then add slices of cheese and put them in an oven for melting for another 5-10 min.

Spread more mayonnaise before serving.

Chicken curry

Spicy chicken curry is one of my family's favourite dish especially when I did with roti prata or briyani rice. 
Ingredients

Onion, garlic, ginger; grinded them into smooth paste.
Babas Meat/chicken curry powder
1 tbs hot chilli powder
Star anise, Cardamon pot, cinnamon stick. 
2 fresh tomato cut into small pieces
Salt to taste
Add water till it covers the chicken to cook them. Sprinkle fresh chopped corainder once ready n serve.
