Another neckless completed.

I did another necklace yesterday. I had those pearls laying around for such a long time and decided to combined it with a mixed of white and silver pearl along with silver chain on the back.


I just need to get the 2 silver crafted chain which cost 15 sek each and it done.

This took me probably maximum 45 minutes to make one ready from stretch.

The Pearl Shop here in Sweden has fantastic collection on any accessories you wanted to design for yourself and they are not expensive at all.

I just love this classic but somehow simple design.

19 years old Daughter.

Elrener turn 19 on the 14th November 2009. Just a small family dinner together. Since she has been sick for the last couple of days, we made no special plan.

We had toasted Skagen rora as a starter and Seafood Pasta as a main course which followed by Chocolate Birthday Cake for dessert.

I finally did it.

Its been months since I last sat down to do my own accessories. Thought that it would be nice to do some new accessories to work, so I find time while watching TV to create a simple 3 layers of Grey small tiny beads of neckless.

                                                         A Closer Look

It is a very tedious work as not only the beads are small but the hole are very tiny and it took a lot of time to put each bead through. 

Singaporean style of Asian Rojak.

The whole of this week I did several different Singapore food here at home. After so many years in Sweden, I never get the chance to cook the dishes which my mom used to taught me until this week, I finally did it. Since my two girls are also craving for Rojak and it is much easier to find all the ingredients needed here, I agreed to do it the next following day. Amazingly..... we had our first tasty Rojak in Sweden.

I could eat this tasty and healthy salad everyday!!

My Winter Jacket.

I bought myself a new winter Jacket from Esprit on Sunday. I have left my similar thickness jacket in Singapore when I went back in February and thought I would be coming back in the summer so I could take it back but somehow I did not manage to travel back. I have tonnes of other different jacket but I still love the thick type like this one which feels more like a sleeping bag and they are long. It is so nice and warm.


It started snowing quiet heavily on Wednesday last week and I thought be be better to get all the right clothing ready.
Gabriel also had his inner long pants each time he goes out.

Asam Pedas

For the first time after all these years, I did the best ever tasted Asam Pedas here in Sweden. Usually, I could not find in the supermarket and then I will be missing Daun Kesum, Kepala ikan or no Lady Finger etc. But this time, I manage to find all the ingredients I needed in the Asian Supermarket which just open few months ago.

Transformer Costume

Gabriel is invited to another party but this time is a Masquerade children birthday party on the 14th November and I have bought for him a Transformer Costume which I found in BR Leksaker. He is very excited to wear it this Saturday.

He was all set up and ready to party.All the kids are well dressed with their costume including the birthday parents.

One week of Autumn Holiday

The children had their autumn holiday for a week. We bought Gabriel out to different places for him to play in the afternoon so he would not be staying home always.
Beside that he even got his friend Abdoulie to come over one day to play and they played for nearly 7 hrs straight. The house was wracked with toys and Gabriel had to clean and pack it all up back to his toy boxes.
Gabriel was also invited to two birthday party over the weekend. He enjoyed Philip party who is a classmate of his and he just lived on the same street. So he had fun playing with the other kids at the parties he met.
Michael had his party and he turn 2 year old, even though a big age gap for Gabriel and Michael, we were invited since they are a very close family friends of the Törnquist family since childhood. Somehow there are kids of all age and Gabriel played along very well with Sandra who are of the same age.



Ellie coloured her hair and I am hijacking her into snapping her worst un glamorous shot of the year.


Sisters talk. I am sure she had so much to talked about to her sister after she got back from the party last night which she stayed over at her friend house.


Managed to convince Peter to agree with a face mask finally. He never want to and never be bothered to normally but since we are sitting down relaxing that night watching TV and since I have a whole lot of A -Z different range of dead sea products, he agreed to give it a try.


He liked it though after the whole facial treatment and he his skin felt softer and smoother.



As usual my vain little boy wanted me to take a snap of his photo reflecting the mirror.


He just love hugging his sister all the time. Since Vel is very ticklish around her neck, Gabriel just love hugging it tight enough around her neck till she have to struggle away with her big laugh.


Elrener has been revising her studies over the school holiday whenever she's home. Since she will be having an upcoming test the week after, she put a whole of effort in her studies. Again she have told me that she wanted to gain top high scores and that is why she's been studying a lot during her holiday. In a way we are happy that she's out at least one night partying and enjoying herself with all her friends.


We got our Nobel Beds logo embroidery ready on Wednesday and we liked it. This logo will also be embroidered on our Noble Beds Head Board.


Gabriel was the first one who wanted to take photo again. So he it is..
