Friends Visiting London

First of all ever since we left Sweden November 2013, my son Gabriel have not met his two best friends William and Gustav since then. They have known each other since they were 6 years old.
Friday 14th March both William and Gustav mom brought them to London to visit us. The boys were so happy to meet again. Gabriel claimed that it was the best time he had in his life. They boys slept over at our place and they played played xbox when we get home. After breakfast for the past two days, they changed and went for a swim.

We had mom and our boys day out on Friday. Lucky with the weather, it has been a nice summer weekend. We took a walk in the city, showed the boys to big ben, trafalgar square and few other places which they found it to be very interesting.

Gustav and William were pretty tired that day, Since they left home at 3 in the morning and even though they have been sleeping on board the plane and busses, they were still weak and tired. So we decided that we sent the boys home, ordered pizza for them and we adult went out to have our dinner at the Indian restaurants.
This is one of the biggest toy store called Hamleys with 5 levels in Oxford street. Which is obviously they can spent many hours in there trying all the toys.

In the evening, we went to the Chinatown in Soho for our dinner. It was a lovely weekend but I was totally dead weak on Sunday evening after they left. I rest on bed and slept early that night.

Letting go of some people in my life.....

There are people who comes and go in my life, some stays for as long as I am alive and some just move on. I don't have problem of letting go of people who ain't worth holding on to. People may not be perfect but once I reach out my hands to you once and it will be the last you will never know.

Live your life and I will live mine. I know mine is full of colourful n adventurous exciting life while yours have been dull and the same year after year.
If finding other people fault is what you are good at than keep that profession as it has shown clearly why you still there.

Last but not least......

Potluck & karaoke Night

Saturday 13th October a friend from Stockholm, Irene invited me to her house for a gathering with the other Malaysian who are living here in Sweden. It was the first time for me to join this kind of potluck gathering as I have never been to one before.
Mike, Irene husband picked us up by car at the train station as I have not clue of how to get to her place.
The only person I knew there and have met couple of time is Irene, her husband Mike and Johnny. I have not met the rest of the other couples there.  Somehow they were very friendly and it was indeed very nice day spending my saturday.

This is the ladies and children table. Very comfortable, nice and the steamboat cooks faster than the men side. The men has a special sitting place out in a little colder place at the balcony.

There were so much food and really yummylicious. Amazingly 2 of their Swedish husband really enjoyed the steamboat and the chilli dip too. It is not easy to find Swedish enjoying steamboat.

We started eating around 4. When we done, we went over to the living room for some Karaoke time. Almost everyone sang and it was fun.
Then we had very typical asian desert. Before the night end we ate again for the 2nd round. It is truthfully amazing, I never thought we could eat again after we had so much for the first round.

The host Irene.
Thank you for a lovely good dinner and quality fun time with you and everyone there.

A night at Lena and Björn Cyrus

We were invited to their summer house and stay a night there. It was a very nice evening. Gabriel got his first big fish. In fact it is so easy to catch fishes here right from their dock.
Their long pier was fantastic. In the evening we prepares food together and Björn grilled.

The start of something good........

It's Monday today again. I woke up at 5:30am as usual. Have had problem sleeping for many weeks now. Thought it will be over but it didn't. Had so much things going around in my head. I wish I could get rid of that thought away... I know if I continue having sleepless night like this, someday I will just collapse, breakdown and fall apart. Decided to go for a run this morning after an early breakfast. It helps me to calm down and get rid of all the thoughts out of my head. I just love running for hrs when I felt down like this. Just came back home again about half an hour ago and was sitting down, listening to music and trying to cool myself down before I start my new day again. Then all the thought came running back into my head. Some are good thought and some are hurting thoughts which I just want to get rid of. My thought, my heart and my feeling does not seems to work well together. I have so many questions inside me which I cannot seems to get an answer that I am hopping for..... Somehow I had a very nice lovely weekend. Was at Claudia and Thomas for a party. They are one of the most loving couple and one of the most sweetest person I have met along in my life. I am glad to have get to know them. Here I am standing beside Thomas and trying to teach him how to fry those spring roll :) He did well until the last few batch which got little burn :)Overall Thomas you are good.
Here is beautiful Claudia. I slept the night at their place and we woke up, prepared breakfast together. Since it was a lovely sunny weather, we decided to have our breakfast outdoor at their terrace. After breakfast, we sat for hrs just talking and laughing away.
I left their place around 2:30 and went back home again to be with my children. That night I prepared Duck for the family. It is one of my family favorite dish. Duck ala' Orange. Its a roast crispy duck with orange sauce. We sat for dinner and ate together and after that I was sitting down working with the sites until my eyes cannot seems to open anymore. I went to bed and slept probably 4 1/2 hrs :( Memories that will always stay with me.... START OF SOMETHING GOOD...

Memories of my Best Friend....... Maznah Sulaiman whom I called "Mel"

MY LAST MESSAGE TO MY BEST FRIEND..... MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE, I pray for your happiness after life. You going be miss so much and you have a place in my heart forever somehow.... somewhere....

Never knew I felt that I could be feeling so hurt like this. I realized you're gone forever.

This link song below is especially for you.................
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqjEL_bpmFg

(We took this photo together in a studio during our younger days one day)

I could not even believed or want to believe,,, when I heard the news today that she is gone forever!!!!!

We had so many of our young memories together. We have been through  so many ups and down together but nothing have ever seperate us apart.  We drifted apart when I left Singapore but we are very much in contact through email, sms and phone call often.(Never miss to update what happen in our life)
It touches me so deep down inside to lose someone whom been so close to me after all these years and sharing many things together. I admit I cry and tears just came down each time I think of you, even though I try to hide them ....... No way I could hide them each time I  think about you, Mel.

I remember our youngest day, we spent so much time together. I remember one day when you got so drunk and I took care of you. I dragged you to the taxi and we checked in to a hotel together and you could hardly walk but I was there for you when you threw out and I put you to bed. There are thousand things which we did together, walk down by the beach at 3 in the morning sharing our life........ (Beautiful good friend memories together)
You slept at my house uncountable time. We just spent wee hrs till the sun rise talking and listening to music together.
We travelled through different places together. It is so rare what we have done together in the past as most people only does this only when they were young.
Somehow everything what we did together in the past change, we drifted apart as we get older, matured and our life have to move on. I have my new family and you had yours but through all these we still kept in contact.

I was very happy when I heard you got married again. I know you have gone through so much in life. YOu talked to me few months before you decided to settle down and how much it has change your life again. I encourage you to take the challange again. You did it!!!!.............. BUT AGAIN I heard the news someday that he left you not long after you shared your happiness together. His death was very sudden and you were so down and depress after that. I know you think of him every single night. You told me how much you miss him and how much you felt alone. I remember you mail me almost every week and even told me after exactly one year of his death anniversary. I know you were depress.................You mentioned that you felt so down and very lonely. I wish I was there for you.

We wanted to meet each other so much and we always said that we have so much to talk to each other when we are together again. That was a nice moment as we always talk about what we have done in the past and we could have a good big laugh about it when we meet again someday. I know you needed that company and someone close to share your life with but we never got the chance till you said GOOD BYE to me suddenly!!

When you had the stroke, I was shocked. Days after your stroke, you send me an sms everyday and kept me update even the message was more or less unreadable. It was jumble up and even after I confess with you, you didn't admit it as it is because of your messy phone that need to be change.

Mel, I had so much to say to you........ and we actually plan to meet again in April 2010 until you got a bad stroke few months before we will be able to meet. After that we never get any chance till you say EVEN Goodbye..

One thing for sure, I have to admit that you are part of my family and my life. I will always remember you and even a small part of you stays in me, it will be forever.

REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND....

Gröna Lund.

We enjoyed the last opening day at Gröna Lund Saturday 19th Sept for the year 2009. It will then be open again in 2010 during the summer.
We gathered few friends with children. For the first time in my life in Gröna Lund, we stayed from the opening time till it get darks when we left at 20:10 in the evening.
I was surprised that Gabriel and Gustav rode almost all the rides that permits their height accepted entrance. I bought for him an Åkband, is like a band tied around on his wrist which entitles him to go on any ride as many time he wants to.
I admit honestly that there are some rides which he took that day, making me nervous to let him go. Somehow I know if he wants to try, it is better letting him try and decide the feeling for himself. At certain point, he said that some rides are making him nervous too.
Kvarten was one of the ride that I am almost could believe he went on it as he is only 6 years old. When I saw a boy who is slightly older than him shouted on the ride,"Mamma" and almost crying on that ride, I felt to run inside and take him out but I have to control my freaking feeling. Then he came out sitting next to Kvarten. I was shocked of happiness. He did it and he came out saying that he would not take the Lilla Musen after tried the Kvarten. He was scared for sure but he wanted to try it again later.

Sandra, Gabriel and Gustav.

Sandra, Gabriel and Gustav on a spinning Giant tea cup.

Gustav and Gabriel on a children free fall.

Children car ride. Trying to sent them on to all the ride possible since we have bought the Åkband which is actually worth it.

Melissa and Dad, Bengt Nilsson.

Another Children ride on Mini MoseRides.

Stop for a short break and had Muffin and Kanel bulle.

Gabriel and Gustav on an Octopus rides. This has a height requirement as it is quiet scary looking. Gabriel felt little nervous on this one but still he loves it and went on the 2nd time again with Sandra.

The 3 small witches.

Bengt has to show his face on this one as trying to convince his daughter Melissa.

Sweet little Melissa.

This is Kvasten the one that I felt worried about. I did not get to take good shot of him on this ride as it goes very high and very fast. He is sitting ride at the back which two small feet dangling.

Blå Tåget translated as Blue train. It is scary it is dark and scary figures, I dont know what but they were scared.

The bumper car.

This is from the Lustiga Huset. Suppose to be Funny House. I been in once. Not funny but lots of difficult scary movement to do inside and to go through and at the end ended up on this carpet which Gabriel and Gustav is on was not nice feeling at all for me. It falls so steep, so high, so dark and so fast. They liked it but I never like it anyway.

Aida(my Singaporean friend) with her daughter Melissa and Vel.

How sticky he gets from those candy.

The love tunnel which takes them both around on a small boat.

We took a break here. Tomas is seen with coffee and some muffin on his hand each time we sat down. He ate on every spot we sat.

We were shocked when Gabriel and Gustav came back with a big dog. They won. Here how it goes. Gustav and Gabriel wanted to play some games and I was tired after following them with all those rides, so I convince Vel to follow them and gave her some money. They played once and Gustav won the bonus price, then Gabriel played one more time and won the first price. It was just by luck that they both won. We hardly won anything big like this for a long time now.

Therese also won a small teddy bear for herself.

The flying frog. Not easy at all.

Ladybug ride.
Later they took few more ride before we decided we going to sit and have our dinner.

Even we sat for dinner and after ordering their food, the kids run again to take few rides before waiting for their food.

It was a long day for everyone. We left Gröna Lund at 8.10 in the evening. I can say that it was one of the longest day I spent in Gröna Lund and Gabriel took almost all rides and many times in each rides too.

We will be there again next summer.
