The class trip was plan few weeks ahead. Mrs Doleres, the class teacher for Kindergarden in Namer American School has asked Peter to make arrangement with the farm owner that we know so we could bring the kids on a trip there.
Gabriel having breakfast before we go to the school.
By 8.30 all the children are gathered together in the school bus. 14 students, plus Mrs Dolores and her assistant teacher Mrs Noha was making sure that the children were seated in the bus quietly before they head the road.
Peter drove very slowly and carefully that day as the bus was following behind him to the farm.
Carrie, was there already waiting for us when we arrived. She had prepared food drinks for everyone.
First of all Carrie, had put into plan that the kids will go to her house and have them settled down. They put their bags down and started running around her garden.
The kids were happy just to be outside, running around and we were also very lucky with the weather that day.
Later we arrived to where the pony was out to the field every morning. Carrie explain to all the kids to be careful when being around horses. She asked Gabriel to explain to the rest of his classmate about the rules when they are near to horses. Since Gabriel has always been to the ridding school following his sister every saturday, and ride a small pony himself, he is aware of the rules with horses. Gabriel told all his classmate that they cannot walk close behind the horses, as the horses might get frighten and the horse will kick them.
The small lovely children were standing reasonably away from the fence looking at the pony.
Later we took a walk to the Cactus area. Carrie was indeed a very guide. She explain to the kids different plant, trees, tractors and animals that they have seen while they were there.
We had to stop our sight seeing as for now as all the kids are calling for their teacher. Mrs Dolores, all the time complaining that they were hungry.
We walked back to the house and we sat outside where everyone had a place for themselves. They sat down opening their lunch boxes and start eating their food.
Later Carrie, had called for 2 of her workers to saddle a small pony and the all the kids get a chance to ride on pony. Gabriel as always, he would like to go first and since he has the experience ridding, Mrs Dolores called out his name to go first.
Then followed by one after one of his classmate who sat on the horse.
After the horse ridding, Mrs Dolores gathered all the children to the big spacious garden to play different games.
The kids were very spontanous and happy. They participate the games without any complain and happily running around.
I was so happy to be there with the kids and seeing them so happy, really make my day.
After the games, we took a walk to the stable to show the children where the big horses are. The kids manage to see the whole long stretch of stables where all the mother horses are being with their baby.
Finally before the class trip end, we tried to take a class photo together but it's not easy with 14 kids of 4 years old to get their attention of standing still for 30 second.
This was the best shot we got and yet everyone are not ready.
The kids went back to the house, packed up their bags and everyone says thank you to Carrie for her hospitality and welcoming them to her wonderful greenery paradise.
They left at almost 1 in the afternoon back to school. Peter and I decided to let Gabriel went back with the school bus to the school as he would have much more fun being with his friends.
After the kids left, Peter and I sat for an hr with Carrie and we had a nice quiet time talking.
At 2 o'clock, we went to the school picking up all our 3 kids home. Gabriel had so much to talk about in the car explaining to us how happy he was and all his friends were very happy to be there.
Hopefully we will be able to organize more trips for the kids someday.
