Soy Sauce Chicken


Soy Sauce Chicken with Hard Boiled Egg

1/2 Cup dark soy sauce
1/2 cup light soy sauce
2 cup water
3 cloves Garlic mince
2 cm Garlic mince
Spring onion
4 Star Anise
1 cinnamon Stick
1 ts Chinese five spice powder
1tbs Rice Wine
1 tbs honey
2 tbs brown sugar
2tbs white pepper


Put all the ingredients in a pot and start boiling.
Add in chicken after they started boiling for 20 to 30 mins
Off the fire, add in hard boiled egg and close it with a lid and let it stand with lid on for few minute.
It is nicer to let it longer as the chicken and egg will adsorb well with the soy and will bring out the taste.
